Happy fall everyone! It’s about time for those of us in the northern hemisphere to start putting on a few more layers and enjoying the crisp, fall air! For inFlow customers in the southern hemisphere, it’s time to start pulling out your springtime coats and looking forward to summer (lucky ducks). But no matter what season you’re headed towards, we’ve got a surprise for you: inFlow v3.3. beta!!!
“YAY! Woohoo!” *The excited cheers of the crowd*
Okay, yeah. We’re pretty excited about this release, so let’s talk about a few of the major reasons you will be too.
More Flexibility in Batch Payments
Batch payments was a big boon to inFlow, but we’ve been hearing that you want a little more flexibility. So you can now choose which orders to apply your batch payment to! With no specific choice, payment goes to the oldest orders first, but in case you want your pick, you can do that too. Now you can also edit or cancel batch payments, meaning it’s easy to correct mistakes.
Integrate Shopify and Magento to Sync Orders
We know a lot of the community is selling online and we’ve been hard at work to make that process even easier. Now you can link to Shopify or Magento stores and sync your online orders into inFlow. You can even choose how to import your orders!
Want them to stay open so you can track the process of fulfilling and shipping those orders in inFlow? No problem. Prefer to have the stock deducted right away and the order closed? We can do that too! To get started, have a look over the instructions for Shopify and Magento and let us know what you think.
Control Your Backups (which are now smaller!)
Backups are important for your business and help you recover when things go wrong. You can choose to backup anywhere, but automated backups are traditionally saved to your local machine. Well, we’re taking things a step further. By default backups are still saved to the C:ProgramDatainFlow InventoryBackup folder, but now you can modify this to save to a different directory. What’s more, the backups will take up less space since they’re automatically zipped when saving.
The update is also full of smaller fixes and features like improved address handling and new currencies like the Kyrgystani Som, Belize Dollar, and Afghan Afgani too, which should help to make inFlow even easier to use.
